Writing Center Co-director, Brandeis University
In my role as Writing Center Co-director, I recruited, hired, and trained up to 20 graduate writing consultants every semester. I worked closely with writing tutors to ensure our services were constantly improving and adapting to students’ needs. I coordinated in-person sessions as well as online tutoring through synchronous and asynchronous modalities. I also contributed to a community where tutors developed their teaching and mentoring skills.
In this leadership position, I used project management skills to coordinate schedules, and communications with students, faculty, and departments across campus.
